This month Solutionpath are pleased to welcome Adam Taylor as the Head of Professional Services (HoPS). This new role is a critical step in strengthening the Customer Success function to ensure we provide the very best service throughout the customer lifecycle at Solutionpath. Over the coming months, Adam will take the lead to redefine our customer facing teams to strengthen cross-functional working and build high-performing teams centred around our client needs.
Adam brings a wealth of knowledge to the role with over a decade of experience managing Professional Services. Most recently he worked for VivaCity and was responsible for the building and scaling of a team that worked on easing congestion and promoting active travel in UK cities using artificial intelligence.
As Head of Professional Services, Adam holds responsibility for developing and co-ordinating cross-functional resources within Solutionpath aimed at maximising the impact and value to our clients by creating a range of services that will help guide, educate, train and consult so that our clients are set up for success. He will also be a key point of contact for our customers during the delivery phase. helping to remove obstacles along the way.
Adam’s interest in working for Solutionpath builds upon his own university experience. Having attended a post-92 institution and as the first in his family to attend university, Adam has personally experienced the transformative power of a university education, which he feels closely aligns with Solutionpath’s mission to help students succeed. He says: ‘It’s rare that you get the opportunity in the world of software where everyone’s a winner!’
He cites the meaningful impact that Solutionpath are making for their customers, alongside our ambitious nature as an organisation and our values of innovation, collaboration and mutual trust as factors that drew him to the role, alongside the opportunity for him to use his own skills and experience to make an impact for our customers. Just a few weeks into his role, Adam has a clear idea of what he wants to focus on in the first three to six months:
I want to begin to establish close relationships with our clients to understand what we’re doing well, discover where we need to improve and begin to change the customer experience for the better.
In this short time with the company, Adam’s first impressions of the Solutionpath team are as ‘extremely open, collaborative and professional’, stating that he can see that the team around his him ‘really care about what they do and what they want to improve because they can see what it means to their customers when they turn a requirement into a successful outcome’.
More broadly, Adam sees huge potential for our clients from the development of the new Professional Services Team:
Driven by the leaps we expect to make in the capabilities of our product, and combining that with a maturing Professional Services function, we expect that we will continue to lead the way for our customers, continue to establish deep and long-lasting relationships and that as an organisation our service-offering will power ongoing growth.
David Cole, Chief Commercial Officer at Solutionpath joins us in welcoming Adam to the team:
I am extremely excited to welcome Adam into the Solutionpath business as the Head of Professional Services as part of our wider investment in the success of our customers. He brings a wealth of experience and energy to the role that will help us develop new and innovative services for our community and support our ambitious growth plans. I look forward to working closely with Adam in the coming months and years!
