About you

We want to hear from you if: 

  • you are a Technical Specialist (TS) who understands product and service portfolios and can support and maintain customer environments for both on premise and cloud (AWS) 
  • you have experience acting as the technical authority with broad technical knowledge across ranging functions (applications, data, security, cloud deployment, etc). 
  • you can support a range of stakeholders from a technical and infrastructure perspective. 
  • you can accurately communicate technical specifications. 
  • you are experienced in greenfield deployments & cloud migrations.  

About the opportunity 

The technical specialist (TS) supports Solutionpath’ technical design authority to implement functional programs across innovation/product. Responsible for the provisioning of support and maintenance of our customer environments for both on premise and cloud (AWS), including greenfield deployments & cloud migrations. The TS supports a range of business units from a technical and infrastructure perspective including service desk, development and product management acting as the technical authority in support of these broad functionsEngaging through both our current delivery processes and emerging product focussed DevOps teams. The TS role requires a broad range of knowledge in a range of technologies and architectural domains (applications, data, security, cloud deployment, etc). Collaborating with devOps teams, product teams and client stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle. The TS has a keen eye for detail and problem-solving capability 

The role may also include occasional national travel upon a return to ‘normal’. 

About the Job 

  • Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software. 
  • Understand ‘client’ data at a detailed level and drive the successful ingestion into Solutionpath’s products. 
  • Provide technical support for programs and products to both clients and colleagues. 
  • Accurately communicate technical specifications. 
  • Work collaboratively cross-departmentally. 
  • Recommend and implement improvements. 
  • Create technical documentation for reference and reporting. 
  • Demonstrate product functionality accurately and completely. 
  • Provide technical support on client calls. 
  • Continuously expand knowledge of Solutionpath’ product offering. 
  • Research emerging products and technologies. 
  • Proactively seek self-development, mentoring and coaching. 
  • Share knowledge and provide coaching and mentorship to support the development of others. 

About your skills and experience 


  • Broad Technical knowledge across ranging functions (applications, data, security, cloud deployment, etc).

Essential Technical Experience 

  • Working knowledge of a range of databases e.g., MySQL, Oracle, MSSQL, Postgres, Snowflake. 
  • Operating systems; Windows, Linux 
  • VPN 
  • Knowledge of programming languages e.g. Java, JavaScript and frameworks/systems (Vue/Vuetify). 
  • Troubleshooting. 
  • Monitoring. 


  • Experienced in Agile principles, processes, and ceremonies. 
  • Disaster Recovery and Performance scaling. 
  • AWS Cloud front, Route53, ACM, WAF, ALB, S3, EKS (Kubernetes). 
  • Docker containers. 
  • Code Pipeline / GitLab. 
  • SSO

As a Technical Specialist working with Solutionpath you will be offered a competitive salary (dependent on experience). 

This role is being offered on a full-time basis of 37.5 hours per week, 9.00-5.30, Monday-Friday. We are working remotely at present, however office and WFH routines are flexible.
